Itinerary:
Day 1:- Srinagar to Srinagar: – Our representative will pick you up from the Srinagar airport. Srinagar is the capital city of Kashmir. After pick up we will check in into the resort. After check in we will enjoy the local sightseeing of Srinagar. Here we will cover Mughal gardens, Dal lake, Pari mehal and the local market. Return back in the evening for a night stay in the resort.
Day 2:- Srinagar-Kargil : In the early morning after breakfast we will leave towards kargil direct via Sonamarg pass. The approx distance by road is 202 km’s. Traveling from Srinagar to Kargil seems like a journey from one point to the opposite of almost everything that you have experienced during your stay in Srinagar. Both of the places are in contrast with each other and beautiful in their own ways.Along the route there are many attractions like Sonamarg, Baltal Valley, Baltal Wildlife Sanctuary, Zoji La Pass, Drass Valley, Kargil War Memorial, and Drass War Memorial. In the evening we ll reach kargil and ll check in into the Hotel for a night stay.
Day 3: Kargil-Leh:- Kargil to leh distance is around 180 kms but you will never feel bore while covering this distance. Infact it will be the most memorable journey for you. The Sun rise time difference between kargil and leh is 5 min and 46 seconds. After Breakfast we will check out from the hotel and will proceed towards Leh. On the way the main attractions are Magnetic Hill, Monasteries, Confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers and Pathar saheb Gurudwara. After reaching leh we ll check in into the Hotel and can cover local leh market on day 2.
Day 4:- Leh-Pangong Tso lake: – After breakfast we will leave towards Great Pangong Tso lake. The total distance is approx 240 kms. Pangong Tso is a beautiful endorheic lake situated in the Himalayas and is 134 km long, extending from India to China. Inner Line Permit (ILP) is required to visit Pangong Lake that we will take care off. To access Pangong lake you will drive through Chang La pass which is one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Pangong Tso Lake is situated at a height of 4350 m. The Pangong Lake has also featured in a Bollywood movie- 3 Idiots. After covering Pangong tso lake we ll stay for a night in Camps.
Day 5:- Pangong Tso to Leh:- We will check out from our camps and around 12 afternoon we will take our journey towards leh back. Enjoy the landscape in the backdrop of the Lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable.After reaching leh we will check in into the Hotel for a night stay.
Day 6:- Leh to Leh Airport:- After Breakfast we will leave our hotel and will proceed towards the Airport. The tour concludes here with the sweet memories of Ladakh.
